John 1:35-42
Devotional
As believers, we’re invited into a way of life that is unhurried, present, and aware, a life that notices people, makes space, and joins in what God is already doing in the ordinary. That is how Jesus lived. He moved from place to place with intentionality, never rushed, attentive to the person in front of Him. Along the way, He connected, taught, and healed, bringing the sacred into the middle of everyday life. In the same way, we’re invited to slow down enough to see, to care, and to be present right where we are.
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7
